Inger Johnson

Designed and developed a refined Webflow redesign for an acupuncturist, blending cinematic visuals, custom iconography, and a filterable review experience for prospective clients.

Inger Johnson, an experienced acupuncturist, came to me for a full redesign of her Webflow site. She wanted a more sophisticated visual presence — one that reflected the depth of her practice and the care she brings to her clients. Drawing inspiration from the black-and-white cinematography of *Rumble Fish*, I developed a direction grounded in monochrome imagery, with color blooming into the photographs on scroll to suggest the movement of qi and the body's response to healing. A palette of warm gray, gold, and jade green ran beneath it all, evoking natural healing, high-quality care, and health.

The redesign spans five pages plus a CMS template for reviews, with custom icons designed to match the visual direction throughout. Inger had built up 54 client reviews over the years and wanted every one of them visible to prospective clients. To balance impact with usability, I limited the homepage slider to 10 reviews and built a dedicated reviews page that displays all 54 with pagination and a filter feature, allowing potential clients to surface testimonials that match their own conditions or concerns. The result is a site that feels both cinematic and grounded — a more confident reflection of Inger's practice and the patients she serves.
